im right there with you. i cant watch espn at all actually. they could be talking about college basketnall and i just have a complete apathy for it.

dude, im with ya. i cant watch anything football really right now its hard. i could barley watch the eagles game sunday bc i was so ticked off. im sure i will end up watching the titans games sat as well as all the other games, but for now its way to tough.

Sitting in my office at work today and all of a sudden I had like a panic attack. No Dolphin football on Sunday ran through my head. What the hell am I going to do. Man what an awful feeling when the finality of it all just all of a suddenly smacks you in the face. I think I was just in shock yesterday and that is why it didn't hit me till today.

I avoided the shagoffs on ESPN and NFL Network before Sunday's game. Now, there is no way I'll go near them...maybe NFL Network...ESPN no way.
I must say that when I went to sleep Sunday night laying in bed, the finality of the season really hit me. For the first time in a very long time, however; I can honestly say that I can't wait until next season. Actually, I can't until the draft....Actually, I can't wait until the combine!

Since this turned into a ESPN gripe session, I'll add one...
I taped the FSU/Wisc. game they repeated at 3am the other night because I was away for the holidays and missed it when it originally aired 12/27/08.
When I examined the tape later, they chopped what they apparently considered meaningless plays out of it to fit the 3am time slot. Excuse me, the 3am time slot? WTF! The first quarter alone lost 12 minutes of game clock. I don't care if nobody scored on the early drives, they are important because it sets the tempo for the rest of the game. (BTW, they still include commercials.)
Imagine watching only 60-70% of your favorite movie that someone else edited down to show you what they thought you wanted to see. How the drama unfolds is a major reason why some football games are considered "classics." If you are going to re-air a football game, show the whole thing. Thanks for nothing ESPN.

Wow!!! I thought I was the only one. Even though I am proud of what Miami did this year, and look forward to next year, I do not want to watch any football for at least a week.

honestly, i don't even think about football or think about watching or playing football anymore. the past few days, i looked at my games, saw madden 09, and just left. just flat out turned the 360 off and walked out.
