I may have to go back to the Marino's last year when we loaded up in FA or maybe our first year with Ricky but even then I new Fiedler's weak arm was only going to get us but so far. I'm really setting myself up for disappointment but i'll take my chances. Can't wait to get this thing started.

I've always had hope. We might start strong but finish badly. I've been hurt too much but I'm very excited as well but won't hold my breath
BINGO! Until I see otherwise...and DAMN this team has the talent to accomplish more this season...the plan in my signature is what the Dolphins operate under. Like, at this point I'm convinced Philbin hands them a clipboard with this plan on it at the start of the season and hopes no one poaches our cut players to gain valuable knowledge of the master plan they all agreed to.

Belief is such a tough word/investment for this team historically. I certainly believe in 5-8 wins. Now, belief in 8+ wins and a playoff bert is tough. I say the next 3-4 games will give us a really good gauge on what kind of team we have mentally.
the last few yrs the dolphins have played the tough teams pretty good and then play down to the jets, bucs, bills, etc. great teams still lose some tough match-ups but they beat the average and weak teams convincingly. i have confidence that this dolphin team will break that trend ... i expect to win at least 10 this year, starting with washington

Well we should have a very solid pass rush which is extremely important in the NFL and our offense should be improved from last year so I am very excited. The only worry I have is that Coyle is still here. He should have been fired end of last year.... For some reason I think the oline will be ok and surprise a lot of people this year.
There's never been this much positivity that I can remember. Not since Ricky Williams was on the team. I like it.
Cautiously Optimistic
Now I have quite a few Dolphins fans as friends, but everyone else around us... well their teams have won Super Bowls within the last 10-15 years. Patriots, Giants, Packers, Steelers, Ravens... heck even the Jets have been to the AFCC. Is it too much to ask for us to have something go our way for a change!?!?
