We run the same plays week in and week out. Its time to fire the O coordinator.

The weak ass screen game needs to stop.

Very true. Especially damaging when it sucks. Frankly, Linehan/Marinelli v. Lazor/Lou might be the biggest mismatch in coordinator competency in the history of this league.

When half of your plays are horizontal there's a problem.

Thats one of the main problems with our O. We do not adjust our game plan to each upcoming game. Instead of playing to our strengths or to the opponents weaknesses we just stroll out the same plan and expect it to be dominating.

All you need to do is look at it this way...

It was 3rd and long (14yds maybe?) and they run a wr screen to cole beasley...he gets the first down easy, our d was off guard and got caugh with their pants down. The cowboys made it look easy as could be.

Now think about when we throw a wr screen to landry and he has to fight his ass off to gain 5 yards. We make it look so difficult.

The issue here is like what the op is talking about. Every week its the same thing. Its predictable. Teams know we run that wr screen like 5 times a game minimum, theyre prepared for it and we get 2 yards on it. This offense is so predictable i can call out what were gonna do. We had a 3rd and 20 today at some point and i called out the check down where the running back ran 5 yards and we dumped it to him. Alot of posters on this board would blame tannehill for checking down but that was a designed checkdown. We were losing and lazor was just conceding, not even trying to get the first. I get playing field position if the situation calls for it but this is too common with this offense. Lazor calls way too many screens. Screens work when you dont run them every drive. You throw a screen in here n there to keep the d off guard and when they do get caught its a potential big play. Screens are the staple of our offense.
