Can't wait to watch Miami In HDTV

I got a 55'' wide screen HDTV recently & the hockey & Basketball playoffs were on ABC-HDTV & man is that awesome. It's like you are in the house! The lighting, clarity, Its just a really cool thing. I can't freaking wait to see Ricky THEONE williams tearing up the field. The bummer is that right now only ABC is (in my area) in HDTV. So I have to wait until October. But i'm watching every monday night game anyway!

I e-mailed Directtv & the sunday ticket isn't in HDTV either

I hope CBS & ESPN gets into my area by Sept.

I had HDTV on My 41" widescreen in Orlando, and although the game was broadcast in High Def, it was NOT broadcast in Wide Screen format, therefore you get the picture box effect where there is black space on each side of the actual picture where the screen is not taken up...

I don't know if this is still the case.
