...with the fact that Jeff Ireland is no longer our GM?! I'm still moderately ecstatic about this fact. Hope is alive, finally.

There just seems to be so many butthurt, impatient people in these forums who cannot control their emotions. Guess what else you can't control... who the fins pick as our next GM.

Short answer NO! Dolphins fans, I'm positively sure of now could NEVER be happy. The best Owner, GM, Coach, Players could all come and this place would look exactly the same.

so its all about jeff being gone? Is that what its all about?

hahahah, you're probably right.

Its not ALL about jeff being gone, but its a huge part of why i'm happy and hopeful. Everyone and their mother wanted that man gone. And now that he's gone, people just want to find the next thing to bitch about. Hanging on the every word of faux sports reporters is pretty sad way to go about following this team. Just my opinion.

And no one really has a clue who the best option is. We all have our favorites, but what does anyone really know about these guys? Most of these candidates have no previous experience as a GM. All we have to go on is articles and players that were brought in during a time the candidate was with a certain team. But they were not the GM, so no one knows how much of a role they actually played in bringing certain players in. You can credit them with the good moves and blame the other guy for the bad ones, but nobody has a clue. We won't know if we got the right guy or not for a few years anyways. We'll have an idea and can better formulate an opinion when free agency and the draft roles around.

Whats the point of replacing horse**** with cow****, exactly?

Patience? You deserve a gold medal since you have been able to stay patient since 2002 when we became irrelevant and started missing playoffs. The rest of us impatient fans would have liked more than one playoff appearance over the past 12 years. Im surprised that doesnt bother you
