My friend and I are arriving in Akron (No hotels in Canton available) around 3pm on Friday. I'm looking forward to drinking beer and talking Dolphins. If you are going, when are you getting there and where are you staying. Does anyone know of a cool place to hang out in Akron?
 
My son and I are flying up on Saturday. We're staying at the Crowne Plaza in Cleveland as we will go to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame that afternoon. Sunday morning, we'll drive to Canton for the ceremony, then fly out that night as the first day of school here is Monday.

We'll have to catch the game at home on Monday night. :mad:

We're leaving Saturday morning from Kalamazoo, MI, and staying in Cleveland. We're also planning on hitting the R&R HOF and then check out the Great American Brewery. Then its off to Canton first thing Sunday...I can't wait!
 
I'll be there Sat afternoon with a few buddies of mine. I'll be in Akron Red Roof Inn. As for somewhere to hang out... I have no idea. I just hope to run into a few, sorry, a bunch of Finheaven members. If anyone has any ideas on where to go e-mail me at LetsGoFins@bellsouth.net
 
My friend and I will be at the Best Western in Akron. Sounds like a lot of people are staying at the Red Roof Inn, we'll probably ride by to see if there are any hangouts close by.
 
We made it to Canton

Oh yea! Just arrived in Canton, Ohio. Can't wait for the induction ceremony. We are staying in Akron as well. The hotel is already booked up solid for the weekend!

Anyone know what hotel the Dolphin players are staying at while they are here this weekend?? My kids want to get some autographs!

We're leaving EARLY Saturday, at will Be staying at the Hampton Inn in Akron. We were planning on going to the HOF on Saturday to avoid Sunday's crowd (can you even go in on Sunday?).

Saturday afternoon/night, after we check in, we'll be at the Fairgrounds for the Rib-off (mmmmm mmmmmm) and the Collective Soul concert (my Wife's thing... someone please shoot me if you see me before the concert... I need a GOOD excuse to not go).

Sunday morning/evening is obvious, then we'll be sticking around for the downtown festival/fireworks.

We unfortunately aren't staying for the game. I have a work thing I can't blow off.

On some earlier posts, it seemed like a few people were planning on trying to meet up at the downtown festival Sunday night. We need a FinHeaven Sign. Maybe I'll have one made at work tomorrow. They can make HUGE signs. Let me know if this would be helpful.
 
I'm flying out of Fort Lauderdale on Friday night, and going into Pittsburgh. Going out in Pittsburgh on Friday night, then probably heading to Canton on Saturday or Sunday morning. Got no hotel or rental car reservation, just wingin' it. I guess I'll stay in Akron or Cleveland or even Pittsburgh, where ever I can get a hotel. Flying back on Monday in time to watch the game on TV.
 
Me and my dad are leaving at 6 a.m. tomorrow morning and staying in Wooster I believe. Might go on Saturday to visit the hall of fame and then go on Sunday for the ceremony. Hope to see most of you there. It's going to be great. I've got 4 different Dolphins jerseys packed for the days I'm going to be there.

leaving tomorrow morning early...should be in AKron by 6pm or so........we have reservations for saturday and sunday....when they were originally made we had no idea that we would be able to leave on friday......not to sure where the hell we can stay friday night but we have reservations at the akron red roof south on sat and sun.....just wingin it on friday night!!! got all my fins gear packed...going to be sportin my finheaven T on saturday....and of course my Marino swag on sunday!!!!!!!!!
 
Live a litlle over an hour away, but I won't get there until about 10:00 am on Sunday. There is a nice sports bar right down the street from the HOF, I can't remember the name but it's right on the corner.
 
I am staying in Wooster, arriving late Saturday night with the family. My son and I are going to the induction ceremony, don't know what my wife and daughter are going to do. I bought them tickets, but doesn't appear they are going to use them. Nonetheless, I am looking forward to it.


Will be traveling from central Illinois.
