I find it interesting that the fins are clearing so much cap space and our needs at qb. Mueller's history at new orleans suggests he is about to bring in quarterbacks. While in his first year at New Orleans Mueller cleared 12 million in cap space and brought in Delomhe (sp) , Brooks , Bulger and Blake. Mueller's modus operandi seems to be at work in finland. I know there are other expensive needs on this team but none more glaring than at qb. We all know gus no matter how he plays is not the future in Miami. We also know that what ever happens in San diego Brees or Rivers it isn't going to be cheap. Or if a deal can be had for Lienart and with ronnie brown we will need cap space. In any event I suggest the fins are positioning themselves in the Rivers and or lienart bidding war that may occur. Some of the worst teams such as the 49ers are set at qb and thus may trade down and the team with the cap space could be in position to jump up. Saban also appears to favor the draft to build with so I am not sure he would be clearing cap space for a corner and or left tackle in the free agency market.

who knows .. but next year we will be able to have fun and bring in some good players .......... but if we do keep ricky we will have to give him more money next year

Personally, I think the titans and norm chow will be near the top and get Leinart. I could see free agency or the bolts situation happening though. It would be phenominal to grab a couple guys..we have nothing right now. IMO

At least we will have enough money next year to improve our team tremendously. Saban and company have done a great job with the cap.

It's possible that any trade for a QB could involve giving that team picks and Ricky...

Ricky?...I would wait until Ronnie feels comfortable!
I would hope that they keep Ricky regardless. A 1-2 punch at running back can make an average QB look great.
