That means if they let Ogun sign with another team, they save an additional $1.8 mil, bringing the total to over $7 million.
 
Clump, is the cap supposed to rise to 80.5 Mil? I keep reading that here and there.
 
Yes, the "unadjusted" salary cap is $80,582,000.

Each team will have it's own "cap adjustment". This can add or subtract cap space. The number is based upon bonuses in the 2003 season. In 2002, Miami had a "cap adjustment debit" of $2.6 million which lowered the cap. In 2003, Miami had a "cap adjustment credit" of $85,000 which was added to the cap. I have the Fins getting a "cap adjustment debit" of $1.5 million. That's an educated guess and I really have no way of substantiating it.

i thought the dolphins were going to try to restructure o-gun instead of trading a 1st and 3rd for him... what do you think of that clump?
