frankly, it's time in Dolphinsland for players to step back and let the front office run the team...granted it's nice to have input from players...but in the mist of all this turmoil, players should be players, and not try their hands at meddling in the 'what if's & how to's'...i love our players, but none of them have been to the 'promised land' so really what do they know?...if this team needs to be scrubbed down below the barnacles to get the decks cleaned, then that's what it should be...no one player is above getting scrapped away, even the top guns...no salary is too high...we're a long way away from the top...like Wayne said, "..whatever it takes!"...now go ahead, kick me...

So you are saying that Zach and Jason cannot give their thoughts on the situation of hiring a head coach? So what if they prefer Bates to anyone else. They like him and thought he should have been given the job two years ago. That doesn't mean they are trying to run the team or anything.

They certainly have earned the right to give their opinions and have them respected. That's fine, as long as it ends there. You see guys on other teams say they won't play for this guy or that guy, and that goes to far in my book.

I love JT and Zach (my second born was going to be Zachary Thomas **** if I had a boy - the wife had no idea!!!....had a girl) but I am now at the point that if someone would give us 2nd-3rd rounders for them, you have to consider it as I just don't have confidence they can win it all in the next 2 to 3 years while they are still playing. Besides it could give them a chance to win one on a contender. Just speaking with logic and the current status of the team and not from my heart as they share my favorite alltime player status with Dan.
