he did set us up near midfield but Sanchez still put us in position for a chip shot. In the '05 playoffs at Indy the D set up Peyton near midfield needing a FG to tie and he couldn't get closer than a 46-47 yd attempt.

Now we are using the injury excuse? It's interesting how the injury didn't affect him the last month of the reg season where he led his O to 30 PPG throwing 9 TDs and 2 INTs.

You are the King of excuses.

says the spinmeister who contends that if Cruz didn't have a lucky long TD catch, the game where the Giants kicked the jest butt 29-14would have turned around and the jest would have gone on to make the playoffs and giants not. Or that Sanchez with his scary 101 yds, 12-23, 1td/1int vs SD whose ace kicker choked on at least 2 of 3 FGs carried his team 2 games into the playoffs. Seriously you need to get a grip. :idk:

You obviously didn't watch the Jet-Giant game as it was a 6 pt game until late in the game when we got a safety against us and if you don't think that 99 yd TD changed that game you know even less than I think you know.

It's also funny when you say things I have never said- never once have I said sanchez carried the Jets to a title game but when you have nothing just resort to lying and making up excuses- it's the vaark way!

ummm you have said at least 100 times that Sanchez "led" the jets to back to back afc title games, i know carried is not the exact same as "led" but like Vaark said, 12-23 101yards 1TD/1int and Kaeding choking on 2 FGs is pretty solid evidence that in at least that game, Sanchez didnt exactly "lead" or "carry" them to victory, i mean he was 3 yards away from being in double digit passing yards in a playoff game in a warm weather stadium....

also didnt hurt that now Jet antonio cromartie decided to tap shonn greene with his pinky instead of tackling as greene iced the game

Manning - " That troll NYJunc is still talkin all that **** and Im bout to bust that ass on the reg real soon. Rex, Junc, Brady, Belicheat... Im bout to destroy all them bitches when we get to Miami."

Wayne - "Damn dude, youre serious too. Let me get in on that action."

Not only are you out of touch with reality but you're out of touch with recalling what you've tried to spin in the past. Giants beat down jest. Peyton beat down jest in 09. Peyton in last game before he went on a years worth of IR lost to jest by 1 pt. But then I'd expect that from someone who'd rather have Sanchez than Ryan, Rivers, Flacco, Schaub and most other
starting QBs and wouldn't trade 2 first round picks for him. Go figure :idk:

I'm sure you'll be happy to know there will soon be a "dislike" button to voice your displeasure with mine and everyone else's audacity to call you out for stuff you said and then try to deny by parsing. And vice versa.

I always say he helped lead us to the title game and even if I said "led" that is not saying he "carried" us.

His #s were't great in SD but he made multiple huge plays that w/o them we don't win.

You just have no idea what you are watching if you think the giants "beat down" the Jets.

I love the Manning injury excuse- answet the question I posed please. How come that injury didn't affect him the last 4 weeks of the reg season?

I would rather have sanchez than those QBs, the proof is in postseason. Only Flacco is close and he has been more bad than good in postseason.

So, when Brady completes 7 and 13 yard passes against Oak to force the kicker to attempt a 45 yard FG in a blizzard, he did a great job. When Peyton completes a 22 yard pass and an 8 yard pass for a 46 yard attempt in a dome, he couldn't get it done. Sounds a little bias.

Absolutely, the situations were completely different.

A) Brady had the elements to deal w/- Peyton did not.
B) Peyton had 2 huge breaks, Brady 1. Brady had the correctly ruled tuck rule but Peyton had an obvious INT overturned which essentially would have ended all Indy hopes and after failing on 4 downs late in the game the D forced a fumble at the GL and returned it near midfield.
C) Peyton faced a 2nd and 3rd and 1 before settling for the 46 yd FG
D) Peyton knew he had the kicking version of him(great reg season, chokes in January) but instead of getting closer on 2nd and 3rd and 1 at the 28 he took 2 shots at the EZ.

The situations were different. One QB put the kicker in position for a 46 yard attempt in a dome (I believe you called that a chip shot) and the other put the kicker in position for a 45 yard attempt in a blizzard. It doesn't matter to me what breaks each team got on previous drives. We are specifically talking about what the QBs did on the last drive. It doesn't matter what the distance was on 3rd down. Both started with 1st and 10 near mid field and neither could convert at one point. Manning did more on his drive to put Vanderjagt in position for a much easier attempt than what Brady did for Vinatieri. The QB's performance should not be judge differently on the last drive just becasue 1 kicker makes a much tougher kick and the other misses a much easier attempt. I know that is how most people judge, but I don't think it is fair. I don't overrate or underrate a QB's performance based on things he has no control over. Most kickers would have missed a 45 yard FG in a blizzard, and most kickers would be able to make a 46 yard FG in a dome.

One had a chance to get much closer and failed, one was given new life in the game TWICE and still failed.

My hefty morning deuce is greater than the abominable excuse for a quarterback named Mark Sanchez.
