Cardinals CB Richard Marshall on his way for a visit with miami

I read that Marshall was the Cardinals Defensive MVP (obviously not an official acknowledgement)

We will be getting a CB in the draft too IMO. Probly one of those 3rd rounders.

Gotta love all the fans coming onto this thread, talking about something they have no idea what they are talking about, simply because he's not a WR

everyone overreacting but by the time the season starts, I got a feeling like we will be much better than people think.

Free Agency is going to cool down fast. Too much money being spent in NFL and Washington Dallas are in trouble. Same with NO. Lots of strapped teams. Alot of this is just a mirage.
You will see.

Washington in trouble? Explains why they signed some of their own players and also Garcon and Josh Morgan (oh and RG III next month).

if by worst you mean better than our pass defense and 7 of the playoff teams last year (and only one spot behind the 9ers) and only giving up 17 pass TDs on the year (only bettered by the Ravens, Steelers, Jets, and Browns) then yes they were one of the worst.

They were 17th in passing yards and didn't get many ints, but again only 4 teams gave up fewer TDs in the air.

Such turrible stats those are! ****ty defense!

Marshall played some FS for the Cards too.

He's a versitile player and the cards D played particulalry well down the stretch when they finished 6-2 the 2nd half of the season.

The cardinals were high on him:

"Deemed the defensive MVP by coordinator Ray Horton last season, Marshall saw time outside, in the slot, and at safety while recording 69 tackles, two sacks and 11 passes defended."

Could be a great addition to the secondary.

Eric Green was another great addition says the same group of people

He can play nickel or Free Safety. He is good player we should sign that will kill two birds with one stone. Sign him and that upgrades our secondary.

Richard Marshall was great and a starting caliber CB with the Panthers, but he got injured and he began to decline a bit after that....If he returnes to his old form, he could be a starting caliber CB
