Care to watch Fiedler?

How would you guys compare Frerote to Fiedler.

Here are my personal observations of Fiedler:
Weak Arm
Inconsistant Long Ball
Throws into double coverage instead of the wide open receiver (Sticks with the Play)(Poor Vision?)
Consistently inconsistent (1 good game / 1 bad game)

Positives:
Smart
Tough
Mobile

Fiedler has nearly identical carreer stats to frerotte...

Fiedler
11,737 yards
76.9 rating
68 TD, 66 INT
10 years in the league, 34 years old

Frerotte
15,097 yards
76.1 rating
77 TD, 66 INT
12 years in the league, 34 years old

You all know what will happen in Game 2.....Fiedler drops back to pass during the biggest play of the game, he scrambles for his life as Jason Taylor tries to sack him for the 4th time today....Jay panics and throws a late slant pass and UTTTTT OHHHH Sam Madison reads it like a book and takes it back 70 yards to the house!!!!!!

I hated watching him attempt to run plays here...I sure as hell cant watch him now!!

Feilder played better than Pennington.

Pennington has a dead arm and only been exposed to this Offense for like 5 days. Way behind Jay. I wouldn't be surprised to see Feilder start the season...

Ross I believe he is starting the season when they play on the road against KC or so I've been hearing. Pennington is hurt somewhere, forget where but since Chad isn't in shape and Jay is, he'll probably get the nod. Sad but true. Who knows, maybe Jay signed with the Jets even though he likes the Phins still and wants to throw the games to make the Phins look better this year :D. I love conspiracies

There is no need for him to purposely throw a game... he does that fine on his own...

If he lines up vs us this year he will beat the livin stuffing out of us. We have a shot at beating the Jets with penny at QB but if Jay is playing we are dead. All he does is win, and vs us after the way we treated him he will be out for blood.
if the jets beat the fins in wk. 2 i gotta feel it would be by strong team play. if fiedler beats the stuffing out of this team, it's gonna be a long season and this defense has a lot of work to do

Well, you are going to be very surprised when Chad starts the season. He might not be 100%, or 90%, or 80%, or 70%, but he wasn't last year and still won games for us.

I will never understand some people on this board. You get some of the most insightful, intelligent commentary and then this. The guy played his *** off for us for years and was a class act throughout. He came in after a legend and never complained about unfair expectations or the constant harrassment from fans. I was one of the many who wanted him replaced but why insult him now? Did he trash Miami? I just don't get it.

be careful what you wish for

you know, you have to ask yourself one question...

no, not that one.

How many times did Fiedler strike fear in the other teams secondary? HONESTLY. I wish we could get past this.

If I never have to watch him on a football field again it will be too soon.

 I agree!!! Although, it will be fun watching him throw INT's for the Jets

I don't hate fielder. I hate the fact that he started for us for 5 years. The true villian is wanny. Yes jay played his heart out for us, but he isn't anything more than a decent backup QB. The jets are using him as he should be used, unfortunatley for them they may need him more than they thought. He is not the qb you would want in there with the game on the line. Never was.

I wish we really would get passed the whole jay and wanny era. It shows how deep our scars are dealing with the past 5 years. let's move on.
