Talk about about being picked by Miami.
Carey: I'm just a happy man. It is great to be able to stay home and play in front of the home fans, friends and family.
When did they call you and tell you they were moving up to get the pick? What was it like on your end?
Carey: They had me on hold since the 17th pick, and when the 19th pick came, they knew I was talking to Minnesota a little bit. I guess they decided to make the trade then.
