What is this guy smoking? Of course Trent Green is worth more than a sixth round draft choice. But Peterson's not gonna get even that because everyone knows he's going to have to release Green in June. And if there's any truth to the rumor that Miami was offering them a sixth round choice, I'm sure it was out of kindness and nothing more. What annoys me about this entire thing is that it's Peterson's own fault and he's trying to paint the Dolphins as villains. Remember, he's the one who gave Trent Green such a back loaded contract. Did he just forget that the 7.2 million was coming due? IMO Peterson should've seen this day coming and now that it's here, he's acting as if fair market rules don't apply to him. Also, why didn't he wait to sign Huard? Had he done that he'd have some leverage. Mistake after mistake. If I were the owner of the Chief's I'd be thinking two things. One, I'm pissed that this mess has become a public spectacle and two, how do I get Peterson into my weekly poker game?
