Fans and writters got on him asking why was he sent, he never made a pro-bowl, never won anything, came in to camp 28lbs over weight. Lets face it, he makes a ton of money and is just ok for us. It took him 3 games to reach 10 tackles becasue of being over weight. He was around guys like, Rothlesberger, Fitzgerald, Vick, Baily, Tuck. ex... we really couldn't send Jake on over? I agree Dansby does take up a lot of cap space for talking up a storm as he says hes the best LB in game, he sure as heck don't play like it!
 
It's not Karlos Dansby's fault the Dolphins really have no elite players to send instead of him. It's Jeff Ireland's.
 
Maybe Jake didn't want to go?He did just get married recently.
 
Karlos Dansby is nothing special, but we traded away Marshall who would have likely been our representative and Long is still recovering from his surgery.

Does it really matter who we sent?

Wake would have been my choice.

link ? you dont even know how to spell his name, so what do you know ?

Reggie Bush, Cameron Wake, Vontae Davis, Jake Long, Mike Pouncey, Randy Starks, Anthony Fasano, Davone Bess, Paul Soliai, as well as Dansby are all some of the best at their positions, and well recognized players......

As for Dansby, he's been a very good ILB in the 3-4 for us..... where its hard to make a name for yourself. If we really are shifting to a 4-3 base than your going to see him make alot more plays. Keep on whining tho.
 
I saw other guys there who I wouldn't call "elite"....maybe Dansby was the only guy who was in NYC...or wherever the unveiling was at. Apparently the jerseys go on sale April 26th....the first day of the draft.
 
I feel like Dansby is a top level player that tends to get overlooked, kind of like Robert Gallery after he moved to guard.
 
They didn't only use elite players. Hell, the jets sent Shonne Greene.
