Bailey is no longer elite and Vick never was. In fact, due to his draft position and the fact that he's a great athlete, Vick is the most over rated QB in NFL history IMO.
Of course, none of that minimizes the point of your post. I would say that Wake deserves some mention as an elite player and Irleand was instrumental is acquiring him. We also have some young players that are on the verge i.e Pouncey, Soliai, Odrick and Davis
 
C'mon Man......people are acting as if this is the hall of fame, it only a jersery. Elite players or not........so what, its not grtting us one step closer to winning or getting a elite qb....guess what........it don't matter!
 
I think the point is not about the uniforms......is about the fact that he said he's "the best ilb in the NFL" but he's not. His cap number is almost 13mill but he really didn't make any plays last year. I believe he's a good player but he's getting pay to be a great probowl player and so far he hasn't done that with us. Look, when someone states a fact, it doesn't make him a negative person. We all love our team and we're all rooting for these players but fact is fact. And the fact is that Dansby is NOT an elite player up to this point. We'll see this coming season and I hope he can live up to it.

If Karlos doesn't step it up this season they can send his "elite" talents out the ****ing door in my opinion. He has been a disappointment in my book, talked a good game, just didn't elevate his play to the level of his talk.
 
Wow, I'm actually surprised Dansby never made the Pro Bowl as a Cardinal.

Anyways, it's not like they sent some nobody. Dansby is a name and maybe guys like Long and Bush were busy and he was available.
 
Dansby is good - he's just very overpaid. Don't know why we're complaining about Dansby when there are like 10 other problems/players that bother me off the top of my head. If he shows up to camp overweight again, then we'll have something to talk about.
 
Too bad we could not send a great represntative of the team like convicted felon Mike Vick. Next week maybe members of Finheaven can complain that it rains too much in Florida, and it is Jeff Ireland's fault.

On this he's right. We pay Karlos too much for what he gives us. And coming in 28 lbs overweight last season was utterly unprofessional, even if it was a lockout. If he came in 10 lbs heavier than ususal because of the lockout, sure I can live with that. But almost 30 lbs? What did he do all last summer? Sit around playing xbox and eating Twinkies? I thought they were going to have to carry him off on a stretcher during the 4th quarter of that first game against the Pats. He was sweating so profusely I thought he was going to have a heart attack. That doesn't say "best inside linebacker in NFL" to me.

We had a few guys out of shape on the defense, that's why they were so bad for the first half of the year.
 
I literally in my subconscious said, "hmmmm this should have been Bush" and then never gave it a second glance. Who really cares?
