Carnell to sit out? Were we kinda right?

Caddy has always had durability issues and that is one of the reasons Saban chose Ronnie.

The injury doesnt appear serious and I am confident he will get several more 100 yd games before this year is over.

Maybe that's because Caddy has carried the ball over 100 times and he was hurt going into games. This isn't Caddy's fault, you shouldn't leave it up to players to say if they can play or not, the player is always going to say that they are fine because they wanna get out there and compete. This falls on Gruden's shoulders and his inability to manage games well.

Exactly correct. I really disagreed with Gruden on the amount of carries he was giving the rookie back.

Is this why Ronnie went first?

I don't want to put a jynx on Ron, but I watched him "tweak" his hamstring and he was back at practice within 3 days.

Carnell hurt his foot against the Bills? And now his hammy? And a boot all of a sudden?

I hope he's not hurt, but are these the signs of the 1,000 horsepower engine in the wet paper body?

As I said from the start, Carnell Williams will not hold up to 29 carries per game, no runner ever has over an entire NFL season.

Gruden was too enamored with his new toy and overused him.

There is no doubt that Tampa Bay had overused Cadillac the first three weeks of the season, but he's been the key to their success along with their strong D. I think they should definitely rest him as much as possible and have Pittman get more carries so Cadillac doesn't have to carry the load. BUT......... from a Fantasy standpoint (got to love that word), I just traded for Cadillac and I hope he plays this season and gets as many carries, yards, and TD's as possible just as long as he doesn't get seriously injured. :yell:

Caddy is good..no doubt. One of the main reasons they are 4-0, but being me (pessimistic) I REALLY don't think they have played anyone yet. They should have lost to the Lions IMO because that call goes 50/50 half the time..let's be honest. I just hope (although I know I'm already wrong) that this Williams/Brown comparison won't go on forever. Although it will because not only are they from the same college they play in the same damn state which makes it twice as bad.

People were all over the Dolphins saying that every year the combine always gives you guys with great numbers but they can't play football. But most of them forgot the reason that Cadillac was taken as the 3rd running back was not his skill but his durability. The guy is naturally a small stature and runs like he is 240. He is bound to get injured.
