he needs camp "competition" (just someone to light a fire under his butt) .. if i recall correctly, hasnt Carpenter always had another kicker in training camp behind him EXCEPT last year (which was probably his worst year) ?

Carp been bad ever since his 4/4 or 5/5 game a couple years ago
Carp has had 2 solid years, '09 and last year. He was horrible in '10 with a 73 FG%,29th in the league, and in 2008 he was nothing special. He was 11th in FG% last year, pretty good, but i feel in the last 2 years he has missed a lot of important kicks. Obviously he is our kicker this year but this should be his tell all year. Get in done or we need to move on and not have another Mare situation.
