carrol has stepped up big

Guy gets bashed relentlessly, he did after the previous game despite his good performance. He may not be elite but give him the credit he deserves. Players that step up when needed are a big part in winning football games.
 
Ill eat some of my humble pie. I hated on Nolan Carroll hard. I'm still somewhat concerned of him as a fulltime CB, but I will say the last few games he has manned up big and has made very few mental mistakes. Golf clap.
 
I've been telling my friends this all year, even when he was giving up plays earlier in the season, my argument he always seemed to be on position to make a play on the ball even if he didn't alway make them and as a CB just being in position is 3/4 of the battle. Now he's actually starting to break up those passes and it's been great to watch
 
Props to Carroll for his marked improvment, and props to Kevin Coyle for doing a GREAT job with this secondary. His reputation coming from Cincinnati was that he was great with the secondary... He's lived up to that thus far this year. Well done.

you have to give clemons some credit. he has done pretty good this year. jones as taken a step back tho
 
Besides that non-tackle on the Brown TD. He had a good day!
 
I dont mind the haters who hated on Carroll before, just as long as they realize the kid has figured out this defense and knows how to disguise the coverage now and break off.

He needs to be resigned. He can return kicks in a pinch.

I just said to myselft today to just let Clemmons go. He was not that good but he is playing with injury so we'll see. Clemmons can be upraded easily.
 
Told my wife during the game today, he has stepped up big lately. He has gelled nicely with the secondary unit.
