The primary doctor whos known to be the best at knee injury was suppose to the surgery but had a mild heart attack and couldnt do the surgery. The new doctor who did the surgery came out with this misinformation so he can get his name out in the news for his surgery for such popular player.

I disagree. I don't think you read the article very closely at all. The doctor's words in the original article were clearly taken out of context, and most of us were reporting that yesterday. Keep in mind readers often times pay more attention to the title of an article than the content within, and most of the column's perceived negativity was actually taken from the column title.

The doctor NEVER said that Carson's injury would be career ending, or implied it. He just stated it was the type of injury that has ended careers before.

The doctor stated in the article yesterday he had every confidence Carson would return last year and that he'd be back in July. The doctor said it had been a career ending injury for other players and that it had been a severe injury, but most of the negative context in the original article was in the title alone.

The doctor never ever ever ever ever in the article indicated that this injury would possibly be career ending for Carson Palmer, just that it's the type of injury that can and has ended careers, but then the doctor proceeded to say he was optimistic about Carson's injury. The only thing that led people to believe that was what he meant were the *******s who titled the article.

I would consider this a typical ACL-MCL football injury. Comments attributed to me that the knee injury was 'devastating and potentially career ending' were meant to describe such injuries in general
