11:28 PT: CNN/SI's Don Banks reports Minnesota Vikings WR Cris Carter has expressed interest in playing for the Miami Dolphins. He's currently pushing for QB Troy Aikman to come out of retirement and join the team along with the addition of offensive coordinator Norv Turner, who is currently employed by the Chargers.

This offseason will be very interesting...:)

I like the idea of some offseason tinkering just as long as the Dolphins don't turn out to be the Washington Redskins of a few years ago and sign people of past glory just to have them. Aikman would get slaughtered behind Miami's O Line, and I doubt would last 4 games before getting a concussion. I think Carter would be a nice acquisition maybe for a 2-3 year deal (He would be a great mentor to Chambers, McKnight and Deidric Ward) but only if it doesn't cripple Miami's cap to get him.
