Carter to be released in the morning

Always liked Kevin Carter,,,he was a true professional on and off the field. I wished they could have found a way to keep him. Good luck to you Kevin.

Sweet! That saves a lot of money. Best of luck to him in the future. He's been a great dolphins and a great vocal leader and veteran.
 
I like Carter, but this isn't a big deal. Roth is waiting in the wings. We'll have extra cap rom now for Porter or Dielman.
 
Really liked him as a player but his salary and age were too high for this team. I wish him the best of luck. Hopefully they give Roth a shot, we used a 2nd round pick on the guy and he's done well so far for us. Good luck Carter, good luck Roth!
 
We will miss Big Kev, but we need the space. Sucks to see such a great leader go, this our the only thing i dislike about the cap. We need the space and their is a guy in Joey Porter that would make this team so much better, and Matt Roth is waiting in the wings. Thanks for the great memories Carter.
 
Kevin Carter is a class act and a true professional in every sense of the word. Not only has he played a role in our team's defensive success, but he has proven to be a vocal leader in the locker room and a tremendous presence off the field as well. Kevin, thanks for everything you accomplished in your time as a Miami Dolphin. We wish you well.

As rotoworld mentions (and I concur), he could find his way back to St. Louis with Scott Linehan.
 
Well, if Kev goes I hope Joey Olindo and Wilkinson are out the door as well. Guys like Chambers and Mcmichael who talk talk but dont the walking better get the drift, and these two need to restructure badly.
 
I love kevin Carter. But it would be a fair trade to lose carter and sign Porter. I mean, we drafted Matt Roth to take over Kevin Carters spot on the field.
 
this is great news. that's $5.2mil more from Carter's cap number to help sign Dielman, Porter, and Mughelli.

James would clear $2.5mil if cut by midnight as well.
