Casey hampton might not hit Free agency

Steelers making retaining DT Casey Hampton and S Ryan Clark an offseason priority. Would be shocked if either hit the open market.

I don't know the Steelers have come across to me as a cheap team in the past. They had a horrible offseason last year & it showed this year. Who knows maybe Hampton & Clark do stay as they are a big part of their defense, but I can see them hitting Free Agency.

i would be surprised, too. they let their aging vets go whenever they felt they had a replacement on the team. i don't see one in Hampton's case.
