i have enjoyed watching him over the years but i was a little surprised he is coming out. I thought he could of used an extra year. Depends how he does in the combine but i see him more as a 3rd round type of player, like i said imo he could of used that last yr to really help himself. Pro- Great tackler Cons- has hands of cement at times and sometimes is not as physical as he needs to be..i dont think he would be a good fit for this defense
If we could STEAL him in round 3 . . . that would be incredible. He should have stayed another year . . . but I guess with STafford and Moreno leaving he decided to bolt also.
im gonna assume by ur name that ur a georgia fan, so u have watched him play, but i disagree about him needing to be more physical. i think and have read where him being physical is one of his strongest attributes. also as far as the brick hands go, he played the second half of the season with a broken hand, so im sure that had something to do with him not catching the ball as much as u like him too.
Id much rather have Dominique Johnson,CB out of Jackson State(6'2",200)...he is just as fast, and w/ his size and strength and speed, his potential is endless, and could be the next Dom-Rog-Cromartie(shoot up in the draft cause of intagibles and measurements).Besides,he is a much better 3rd round pick, and could go into the 2nd more likely than Asher, but he is good to so,its not a GREAT comprise, after all,its justa 3rd rounder.asher allen, a jr cornerback from uga, declared for the draft today. id like to get him with our 2nd pick in round 2 or in the 3rd
