CB Benwikere released from practice squad, TE Brackett signed to the practice squad

Bene Benwikere was released from the practice squad. To take his place we have signed TE Brett Brackett to the practice squad. Brackett is 28 years old and has bounced around the league since coming out of Penn State in 2011. He was with us for a short stint when Sparano was head coach.

You know you've been bouncing around a lot when you're 28 years old and have been in the NFL since 2011 but are listed as only being a 2nd year player. LOL

Spent a few seasons on practice squads, which don't count toward your years in the league. If I remember correectly, from when he was with the Dolphins earlier, I think he came into the league at 23 or 24.

If I remember correctly he made it to the final round of cuts and then was on the practice squad briefly before being released. He was wide receiver at Penn State and was just learning the position when he was in Miami. Actually never made the Dolphins practice squad.

Chris Culliver must have been really bad in practice. He still hasn't been signed by anyone and we didnt sign him back once we had room

Let's not jump the gun. He's only on the practice squad. If anything I think this signals the end for Dominique Jones who's had several big drops.

Culliver is still not healthy and needs more time to recover from his injury.
