The San Francisco Chronicle confirms that the Raiders are actively shopping CB Fabian Washington.

If Washington hadn't lost his confidence and job to Stanford Routt in 2007 and been accused of domestic battery in February, his value would be a lot higher. As is, Oakland shouldn't be asking for more than a third-round pick.

Could the phins be a trade partner?

why would we give a third for a player that lost his job in Oakland at of all teams

Screw that.. I heard they are about to pull the franchise tag from asoghouma...whatever... Get him instead!

I doubt even Raiders would be stupid enough to do that. I think that stuff about them removing the franchise tag on him is just someone dreaming.

I don't think they will be franchising him if they complete the Hall trade with Atlanta. That would be way too much money tied up in CB's

We don't need another wife beater thug on this team.

So what is the take on the franchised/non-franchised cb?

Did the Raiders get Hall because he is flashy? Because he was available? Do they beleive Hall is better that AA? Or is it that AA doesnt want to play in Oakland?

Just curious, behind every move there is a motive...maybe this is just al davis...

Would AA fit our scheme and what does our scheme ask of CB's?

They are getting Hall because Davis is senile and loves big name players.

Clayton on ESPN the other day was saying the Raiders have 0 intention of letting Asmougha go however, and there is about a 90% chance both he and Hall will be starting for them next year.

Of more concern for them should be the fact they have a 300lb QB, no WRs, a mediocre DL who is the most expensive in football, and an owner who is possibly doing his best Weekend at Bernies Corpse impersonation.

Either way, you can pretty much count Nnamdi out of the mix, and as for Fabian ... You REALLY want to spend a THIRD round pick on a wifebeater who cant keep his job on possibly the most screwed up franchise in the NFL? Really?

Id rather give them a 4th rounder for Stanford Routt. Hes a fantastic DB and he'd easily be our #2 corner.

Raiders are trying to seal the deal for hall by any means necessary but its tough when your 19 mil over the cap limit. i wouldnt give up a 3rd rd for any DB on the raiders roster. But i would give up a second day pick for Washington. Regardless of his off the field issues i think parcells will keep him in check along with veterans like porter, taylor and will allen.

hahahahahaha!!!!:sidelol:

aight...c'mon...thats not nice....I mean, saying 300lb's is way out of line...you didn't even mention thats how long he was on the field.....

Is he really that good? I dont pay attention much to him but I know he had a good year last year.

yea..he was the one that knocked the hell out of David Martin on a 3rd down play...

Hey lets go easy on the "wifebeater" charges. He hasn't been convicted of anything yet. And while I don't condone it in any way, I've been told by people close to the situation he grabbed her. And the fact that her father is a Manatee County Sheriffs Deputy has nothing to do with the whole situation.

This guy may simply need a change of venue. How many players out there have we gotten rid of to only blossom with another team!! I say give the guy a shot, but only for a at the earliest a 4th or 5th rounder.
