<A href="http://www.kffl.com/link/137">Jeff Legwold, of the Rocky Mountain News, reports the Denver Broncos are closing in on releasing CB Lenny Walls (groin), who has been on the Injured Reserve list because of a groin injury since Nov. 1. Walls is expected to obtain his medical clearance and be released before the Broncos leave for Dallas Wednesday, Nov. 23.

It goes by record. During the season, whoever has the lowest record of the teams placing the claim gets the player.

He's the tallest CB in the league at 6-4.

I have no knowledge of the guy's play. I'll say this though; it would take a phenomenal talent for a 6'4" guy to not play "stiff" at CB. The plus side of 6'4" is obvious.

I kinda doubt we will be able to get him. As of right now I think about 8 teams would have a shot at him before us.

That is what I'm afraid of. That last CB went to New Orleans.

The whole reason the broncos have him is for randy moss. since the raiders have not been blowing it up they have decided to release him....Hey don't we play the raiders later in the year?

Yeah, I was steaming when we lost out on the GB corner. But do all of these teams have the cap space? I could be wrong but if you claim someone you're also responsible for their contract right?
