SB Nation’s Cincy Jungle lists the Dolphins along with the Arizona Cardinals, New York Giants, Atlanta Falcons, and the Bengals as potential landing places for Hall. They also add that Hall could be looked at as a safety, rather than a cornerback, for his next team.

The Dolphins opened two roster spots last week when they waived quarterback Logan Thomas and defensive tackle Charles Tuaau. They have $17 million in salary cap space, according to the NFL Players Association.

I wouldn't be opposed to this, but hopefully he is fully healthy

He would be our 4th corner at best, most likely plays/competes with McCain and Ifo in the slot.. Injuries have really slowed him down.

Personal opinion - Miami is set at CB. Any addition from here on out will be RB unless an amazing talent drops in their lap. Not saying that's my strategy, but that's my perspective.

disagree only because depth, veteran ability...very important things we're lacking in our locker-room

Yeah, churn near the bottom is a given for every team. I'm talking about starters and/or heavy contributors.

Sign him, we have the dough and we need to throw as many CB's against the wall and see who sticks. Its the group with the most question marks, by far.

Heard Chris Culliver could be the guy we sign near the beginning of training camp. Leon hall won't be a Dolphin

The way I see it.
If we sign him it means Vance is not quite sure the Db's are ready.
If we don't then it means he is satisfied standing pat.

We clearly would be the most attractive option for him. Given knowledge of the staff and the young Db group.

Please name the 3 others better than Hall on this team...

Miami was 6-10 last year they are not set at any position. I thought last week's cuts would have netted Monroe

I'm could go either way, I'd really love to see what the CBs we have can do together, but none of them have really proven anything yet.

Sign him. He knows the system, we have the dough.

I feel like Miami is set at a number of positions. Set, in this context, is as good as you're going to get without a major trade. At this point in the process, Miami is unlikely to improve at many positions. Some depth at RB would be nice. I'd be for signing Hall (kind of), but you open up the possibility of cutting someone you think is very talented. While Hall might be better today, if you're invested in developing young talent (and Miami has some talent at CB), do you take on an aging player coming off an injury? Unless Lucas or Lippett really underwhelmed, or if someone suffered an injury, it's not easy to justify cutting one of them to keep Hall on a short deal. Maxwell, Howard, and McCain are locks. Lippett and Lucas look like good bets. Hall only becomes viable if Ifo Ekpre-Olomu looks like he won't be himself in the next couple years. Out of your depth, you'd like ST's, too. Lucas should do very well in this area. He's a great athlete and a hard worker. Hard to imagine Hall running down kickoffs.
