CB Richard Marshall In for a Visit

Didn't he switch to Safety? Or am I thinking of another player?

Marshall is primarily a cornerback, but lined up at free safety last season when Kerry Rhodes was sidelined with an injury.

Marshall, 27, is a 5-foot-11, 198-pound former Carolina Panthers second-round draft pick.

he's an interesting guy but even with him and winston in the fold til we fix the qb position its not gonna matter...

You've got the right guy. Richard Marshall is the jack of all trades type of guy. If this was baseball, he'd play utility.

Marshall, who played for the Arizona Cardinals last season, has unique versatility. He's a defensive utility man who can play cornerback, nickelback, free safety, and even contributes on special teams.
Marshall has registered at least 75 tackles and one interception in each of his six NFL seasons.

Should be interesting to see if the FO can actually sign some of their top choice guys instead of them just coming for visits, as seen much in the past........

You know IF Manning was coming he'd would have certainly made our team more desirable and helped out on the FA signings..............funny he hasn't made his decision by now......He's got a good deal wherever he wants to go unless hes waiting for a Houston SF which I doubt....

very good cornerback, can play outside, inside and FS, the cardinals said he was their defensive mvp last season

Well we gotta keep some kinda Marshall on the team to keep the fans happy

(You know a Marshall joke was coming)

It's players like this that really make for a solid defense.

I like this move. Now sign Winston,DT Pat Simms, DE Trevor Scott and FS Reggie Nelson and you have a solid roster going into the draft.
