CB Richard Marshall sign 3 year deal with Miami

I live outside Charlotte and have watched just as many Panthers games as I have fins games. The Panthers drafted Marshall in the 2nd round and he was great his first couple years. Good tackeler, can make plays, and excellent on special teams. I remember thinking that Fox needs to start him more on defense cause he made some good plays. Downside is though, when Fox did make him a full time starter, he isnt the best cover guy, he doesnt get burnt, he just doesnt play the ball well when its in the air. Overall good signing for us, Im a fan of richard marshall

Free agent defensive back Richard Marshall revealed on Twitter late Wednesday that he has agreed to terms with the Miami Dolphins on a three-year deal.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter has the numbers on Marshall’s deal: It’s worth $16 million, with $6 million guaranteed.
We mentioned Marshall’s visit to the Dolphinson Tuesday night. The Fins closed the deal, convincing Marshall he wouldn’t need to meet with any other teams.
Marshall was a top-35 player on the PFT Hot 100 because he is versatile, young, and an efficient tackler. The 27-year-old secured three interceptions and racked up 78 tackles last season, starting 9-of-16 games for the Cardinals.
He is probably ticketed for nickel back in Miami, but also could emerge as a starter at free safety.

Awesome signing Ireland!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ireland strikes gold yet again.

Man some of you have to sh*t on every single move, every single rumor. Not everyone on your roster can be a stud. You need good solid versatile players to fill out your roster. Do you want to just sit around for Manning and sulk when we don't get him? Or would you like to add a solid coverage guy to help us when we play all the teams that are now going to 4 and 5 WR sets to spread teams out.

Its an excellent signing that helps adapt to the changing NFL. Im sorry if his Madden rating isn't good enough.

Should we get rid of Bell and move Jones to SS? We could at least restructure his contract, no?

Never heard of this guy. What's his story?

He is in the-PFT-free-agent-hot-100-list:
35. Cardinals cornerback Richard Marshall
.
just behind
34. Dolphins defensive end Kendall Langford.

the 8. best cornerback in these ranking, behind:
6. Ravens cornerback Lardarius Webb (RFA).
7. Titans cornerback Cortland Finnegan. Signed with Rams.
8. Chiefs cornerback Brandon Carr. Signed with Cowboys.
13. 49ers cornerback Carlos Rogers. Signed with 49ers.
17. Giants cornerback Terrell Thomas. Signed with Giants.
28. Giants cornerback Aaron Ross.
33. Saints cornerback Tracy Porter.

in front of;
38. Lions cornerback Eric Wright. Signed with Buccaneers.
46. Steelers cornerback William Gay.
78. Vikings cornerback Cedric Griffin.
87. Bears cornerback Tim Jennings. Signed with Bears.

Allright, this is a solid signing. Nice job by Ireland to take care of Soliai and secure the nickel CB spot. Now get some help on the other side of the ball.
