CBA deadline nears...

the NFL and the Players union are far from an agreement and the deadline is less than 2 weeks away i beleive. if an agreemenet is not reached there will be no salary cap this year and the player union said if they play one year with out it they will never welcome it back. this would really suck if there is no salary cap.

The deadline IS 2 weeks away, but the uncapped year wont be til next year 2007. This year (2006) would be the last capped season. I wonder which teams are the richest..To get an idea of who's gonna be spending the most money..

so does this mean that evedn after this coming year(2006) that they will not be able to renegotiate or will they still be able to next offseason, in hopes of keeping the cap?

i know that the redskins are LOADED!!

it will probably be like baseball where the richest teams are always on top.
