Maybe it's just me but CBS' coverage yesterday of the Fins-Patsies game was terrible! From calling Chris Chambers Ricky Williams about 3 times to saying that when the ball is in the air, DB's can put their hands all over the WR's and it's not Pass Interference, Phil Simms was driving me nuts. Like I said, maybe it was just me being ticked off already that my boy Chambers cries that Linehan doesn't go deep and they throw a 45 yarder to him and he drops it, but I can't stand CBS. I don't know what it was like where you are but here in Ft. Myers, they showed the Franklin Tempelton Shootout instead of a 4:00 game. To me that's ridiculous! If you're not going to show the games, don't buy the rights to them.

Sorry just venting.

Personally I like P Simms. I wish he would slag people off more though, sometimes he is just too nice. :)

They showed the Franklin Templeton here too. It was in Naples. They probably thought there was a lot of local interest.

I thought the whole game was great. The broadcast did justice to a very good game, IMO.

the only highlight (besides the final drive) they showed on ESPN was Bruschi's diving pass defelction to save a TD. (but they didnt show him getting seriously beat on a passing play :lol: )

was it another Bruschi (we're not worthy) love fest?

at least you got to SEE the game! i got the franklin templeton shootout here in PA at 1....

I got the freakin Colts/Texans game and then the Franklin Templeton :fire:
 
Guys get the NFL Sunday Ticket on DirecTV.....and then you see every game.

Phil Simms was bias yesterday today. Two hours before the kickoff, he picked the Pats to win the game without any problems.

Phil Simms always picks against the Dolphins. I don't know why but I have yet to ever hear him say something nice about the team.
 
I hate Phil Simms. And yes Nance did call the players wrong names, said the dolphins were up 15 to 7 at the half, when that was the patriots.

Saying that basically holding the collar of a WR when hes trying to catch wasnt PI, you know dumb crap. For someone who hates the dolphins he sure calls a lot of our games.

I thought since we sucked last year we weren't supposed to get the "#1 team on CBS".. blah blah blah
 
Phil Sims is one of the few broadcasters I actually like.

The other guy used to irritate the hell out of me when he was in the studio, but calling plays he is Ok...

If he bothers you, Dierdoff must drive you insane. He really lays into the fins, that guy that used to be a 49'er is even worse. He doesn't hide the act that he hates the dolphins.

But theoretically it was for 1st place yesterday....and the Pats are still the defending champs until they are eliminated from the playoffs.
