PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Just two days after Peyton Manning was cleared by his doctors to return to playing NFL football, there’s a report regarding what team he’ll play for.


94 WIP’s Howard Eskin tweeted on Sunday that he was told by two people close to the Manning family that the Washington Redskins will make Peyton Manning their quarterback for the 2012 season, despite reports to the contrary. Eskin is in Indianapolis for the Super Bowl, where Peyton’s brother Eli is attempting to win his second Super Bowl with the New York Giants.

So does Peyton know about all this?
 
I dont buy it. He may not be coming to Miami but I dont see the Redskins with him either.
 
So Peyton is going to sign with a team who plays his brothers team twice a year? I don't see that happening. The only way that they'll play each other next year is when Peyton and the Dolphins meet Eli and the Giants in the Superbowl in New Orleans.
 
First of all that website has nothing to do with anything and they make up reports.

Second, he doesn't know where he is going yet.
 
I don't think there is any chance he wants to play Eli twice a year.

There should be some way to get journalists licenses revoked so we never have to read baloney from them more than once.
 
I think I trust Rob Lowe more than Howard Eskin.
 
So Manning cant even speak to other teams yet because he is still under contract, but he already knows he wants to play for a ****ty Washington team and only this reporter knows. OK.
