CBS4: Dolphins Look To Hawaii For Some Polynesian Power

Man, with all the attention the samoans are having, they could start their own T.V show.

Good video though, I can't wait for the Jaggernaut and company to do the "hacka" to help us winning.

Those guys have a werid infacuation with breaking walls. I love it though, great personalities. Energetic and full of life, I hope all 4 of them make the team.

When you're 6-10 and haven't made the playoffs in 5 years, you need a diversion.

Been to Hawaii...and those dudes are machines. I'm pretty stoked we got some Warriors with the Phins now. Here's to hoping their QB follows in their footsteps.

I would be thrilled to have Colt Brennan competing for the starting job against John Beck, I don't see that far enough, it could actually happen, since Cam is a QB guru and had done this before (Brees, Rivers).

So, as for now, I wouldn't mind spending another 2nd round pick in the next year's draft to pick him.

AJ Smith did that and actually they got nothing for brees except a supp third so I hope we would be smarter.

Link includes a news video clip of the story. It shows the 4 Polynesian guys goofing around during mini camp and Esera and Mauia busting walls. It also shows Hawaii doing the Haka - I thought it was the All Blacks rugby team at first

Nice news clip. I think our new Polynesian guys are going to do great. I think they'll probably make their families back in Hawaii proud. I like the idea of having guys that know what being a warrior is all about. We need all the guys with intensity and fire in the belly we can get.

If thats what it takes to have a franchise QB for years, I wouldn't mind givng up one of them for a 3rd after they cost us a 2nd (each one), so basically you are losing a 2nd, but you are getting a 3rd and the franchise QB and perhaps we could get some more value than the Chargers got from Brees, since the general management have been doing great recently, specially since we signed Porter, got a 2nd and a 7th for Welker and not letting KC take too much from us for acquiring Trent Green

There should be a XBOX or PS video game on these guys running through everything.

I was shown the Haka once when I visited New Zealand a few years back. I'll tell you this, when they stare at you in the eyes like they are going to kill you, you immediately feel intimidated. It's one scary ritual they do and it'll frighten even the toughest opponents. Some rugby teams do it before every game to get that psychological advantage.

 Its always great to start with a psychological boost advantage...

I tell you what if Soliai gets good at that evil eye thing he's going to intimidate a bunch of people. That guy is huge. He doesn't have all that much fat ... he's just big everywhere ... a widebody like a 747 plane. If Dom Capers was looking for a monster nose tackle to back up Truck Traylor this year, he got it with Soliai. We'll have to start calling Soliai "Big Rig" or "Big Foot" or something.

I hope he does that Haka ritual before games with the other Dolphins from Hawaii. Players in all sports have their little rituals to get fired up. Knowing how Matt Roth is, he'll probably join them for a few war dances. When Soliai comes in the game, maybe Joey Porter could do a little of his intimidating trash talk and then Soliai could give them that evil eye face ... that might freak out the QB and a few O-linemen. :D

i dad lived in hawaii for a while and we got all these guys he told me how crazy guys and how mean these somoans can get we are rooting for all 4 of them. if Mauia does well im getting his jerasy with juggernot written on the back

I doubt very much that Colt will be even near the second round
