Cbssportsline New Power Rankings

Yea we should be ahead of Minnesota and maybe even Atlanta. Jacksonville at 4 though? Thats terrible. They havent beat a good team except the Bengals yet

100% agree they should be around 9 or 10 imo

true that, i think we're even better then the jags

Yeah, seems about right. Although, if you started the rankings from five weeks ago, we would be at number 1.

I dont think washington should be ahead of us

Just for the simple fact that you never know if they are coming to play or not

Kinda like how we have been this season. We have come to play for the last 5 or 6 games though
(then again, the Redskins have too...)

So all in all, I think they are fair

They are ahead of us simply because they have a better record, and they are headed to playoffs.

Yeah, but come on guys, it's Prisco.

It's like when a 5-year-old says you're the smartest person she's ever met. It's a nice compliment, but what the hell does she know?

The only power ranking that matters is who wins the Super Bowl. Is there any solace to the #2 team that they were ranked #2 at the end of the season? "We lost the Super Bowl, but at least CBSSportsline ranked us #2 in their power poll!"

I don't believe in penalizing a team due to strength of schedule. Beating bad teams still takes talent and you can still tell a lot about a team's quality even in watching them dispense a loser.

That said, Jacksonville has been playing down to other team's level lately, but what's Jacksonville supposed to do to get any credit? If they lose the games, they suck because they lost to a loser, if they win, they get criticized for beating up a stinker and had a "soft schedule"
