Not only is it very likely we finish last in the division, it just occurred to me that we have already lost the 2 easiest of our 6 divisional games. We have played our home games vs. the Jests and Bills. Which means we still have all 3 road games remaining and our lone divisional home game remaining is against the Patriots.

There is realistic chance we go 0-6 in the division this year. :bobdole:

If that does not get Failbin fired, nothing will.

This season is over even if we start playing a little better. We will split with the Pats at best. No way we beat them on the road. I do not see how we beat the Bills either. They have killed us in recent years. We are going 2-4 at best in the division. That will not get us in the playoffs. Even if we win the next 2 games to get back to 3-3, there is just no way this team is going to win more than 8 games. We are 1-3 vs. a pretty favorable schedule so far.

I don't see who we get out 2nd win against all season.

I can see us splitting with the Pats, for the dolphins thats our superbowl one game and the patriots always look at the big picture

The season is over yes. Since you still want to start Matt Moore, why would you even think otherwise?

We would certainly play a lot better with Moore in there. That is what got me thinking about the scenario in the first place. I was trying to think if it were even possible for a decent QB to dig us out of this hole. Then it hit me we still have all 3 divisional road games and the only home one left is the Pats.

I just do not think it is very likely to make the playoffs by finishing 3rd in your own division. It is hard to finish 2nd in the division if you have a poor divisional record(tiebreaks). The WC tiebreaks break all divisional ties first, so it is important to finish 2nd. To finish 3rd and get it means your division has to take both WC spots. I do not see it happening. We also already have 3 AFC losses.

The schedule gets way tougher after week 6. We would either have to win 9 of the next 13 games(I do not see that happening), or win 8 of them and hope the Jests and Bills both collapse to finish worse than 9-7. We are not going to be able to break ties with them if we finish 9-7.

Realistically we will be lucky to win 6 games and we will likely finish in the cellar. Starting Moore from this point would give us slim hopes though.

Keep it as it is. Don't change anything right now. Let this awful staff and terrible qb lead us to the #1 pick. We are going for Goff.
