Center Mike Pouncey, like Alex Mack, want$ a new contract

All this from a column that says Pouncey is watching the Mack situation and will want a pay increase, yet there is not a single qoute from Pouncey or his agent saying anything of the sort. The column doesn't even say Armando talked to Pouncey or his agent, it's seems like pure speculation on his part. Pouncey is playing on his rookie contract and has been a Pro Bowl center, so of course eventually he will get an increase. But who knows how much he will want and how much he will be worth? Based on recent free agent deals I could see Pouncey getting a $6 or $7 million deal.
 
I would offer Pouncey an extension but not a lot guaranteed. 5 years 35 million take it or negotiate again next year

**** that. First off, he's not even the best center in the conference, let alone the league. The Mack contract should only tell him what he's not going to get. Second, if that's what it is looking like he's going to demand, draft a replacement to groom in the middle rounds and let some garbage team like the Browns or Jags continue to overpay non-playmakers that keep them the Browns and Jags we know and love.

Where are you guys getting 10 mill a year from? Macks contract is 5 yrs 42 mill, which averages to just shy of 8.5 mill a year. It has 18 mill gauranteed over the first 2 years with a player option to opt out, basically it's 2 yrs 18mill. That's 9 mil a year.

Mack > Pouncey. Pouncey gonna get around 7.5mil a year. I could see 4 yrs 30mil for his extension.
