I think it's gotta be C

Gaskins/Brown > Skura/Deiter

Wouldn't be surprised if we traded up in round 4 to address it.

I don't think either us a true need at this point.

Trade everything for picks next year lol.

Start looking at player trades with other teams

I dont see any Centers available now that can come in and play better than Skura. That being said we do need to bring a young center to groom. As far as RB, we need to bring in someone either from the draft, FA, or trade that can come in and be part of the RB rotation.

Unless they see a player at one of those positions that they think can legitimately come in and and compete for a spot on the roster. I think when you get to the later rounds of the draft, you go BPA and hope you find a player who can eventually become a valuable contributor to the team.

When your 1st and 2nd TEs are in a contract year and your 3rd TE has a 2 year deal, sure. Gesicki and Long are hands down a better duo than anything our team fielded last season at the position as well.

sure let’s remember how great 4 tight ends are when Skura is playing bowling in the shot gun or our tiny RBs are on and off the injured list. i have nothing against Long as a player, just upset with a luxury pick with equivalent or better talent available at positions of need.

IMO Long was simply a higher rated prospect on our board than the RBs/Cs left. If they thought he was the 2nd or 3rd best TE it makes sense they picked him over the 6th(ish) rated guys at said positions. I would prefer we don’t draft for need if the value isn’t there, although I do agree said positions are needs.

that’s what concerned me, their evaluations. Last years draft brought us a bunch of meh. Very few of them have the potential to be good little less great. They can be solid starters but that’s what’s had us in mediocrity for the past 2 decades. I keep hearing that Flo has a plan and he’ll coach em up. Wouldn’t it be easier to coach up talent with higher ceilings???

Kylin Hill, Gainwell, Chubba, will any of those three make it to our fifth round pick? You never know. That’s where we got Jay Ajayi who was projected higher.

I’m looking more for centers that can come in and sit for a year before replacing Skura, but I don’t know enough about the prospects left to say that I see that guy.

Chubba is still available? Wow! There was talk not too long ago that he maybe a 1st round pick.

Maybe that's Dieter?

I know he gets a lot of shade around here, but if you are satisfied with a project, he's already here.
