PFF has now expanded to CFF to list college players in this year's draft. I just list the link if anyone wants to see what they have for WR, as they have 4 different articles on them, and are starting other positions. Some pretty good info. From what they say, they have totaled 25,000 man hours to add CFF to PFF.

Southbeach 2 - thx for the link to this really interesting comparative analysis. You should be promoted to Southbeach 1

I enjoyed this run down on Kevin White, showing his drop off late season and 9 drops, while still being fair with how good he is.

I also liked Nelson Agholor's high rating, which Mel and McShay mentioned on M&M today. Did not know much about him before.

I'm sure some will dislike CFF as much as PFF but, for me, they are giving a lot of info which I have not seen available anywhere else.

Will be looking forward to this, PFF does amazing work, it always blows my mind when people try to brush off there stats and rankings.

DeAndre Smelter looks really good. #1 yards per route over Parker and Cooper. Didn't know he is supposably the best blocker in the WR class

Either trade up for Cooper or take Parker happily. If neither are there trade down and take Gurley. If you can somehow get back into the third round Walford is going to be a monster

Besides Smelter and the obvious big 3, the guy that really stood out to me is Tyler Lockett. He is top notch in every good category and nowhere to be found in any bad ones.

He probably got like a 3rd round grade on him. Shame.

I LOVE DeAndre Smelter. Not surprised that he graded out as the top blocker in college football or the most productive WR on a per-route basis. You have to temper that, understanding that he didn't receive the attention that a guy like Cooper did. That said, Smelter is outstanding with the ball in his hands, knows how to use his frame, blocks very well, and he's a high-level competitor. If he were healthy, I think people would be talking about him sneaking into the 1st round. 11" hands. If he develops, and he's not as raw as some claim, he'd be perfect for Miami.

Even with the injury, I have Smelter as my best WR in the 3rd round range.

I wish we could get back into the third round so we could have a shot at coming out of the draft with 3 impact players. If you look at the draft chart and we trade our 4th and one of the 5th round picks it looks like we could get into the bottom of the third round possibly although that value might come up just short of getting another team to make that trade.

I don't think it's that simple.

Sometimes our 3rd round draft picks suck (Dallas Thomas, Michael Egnew, Patrick Turner)

Sometimes our 4th & 5th round draft picks turn out pretty well (Jelani Jenkins, Lamar Miller, Reshad Jones)

I don't think anyone actually doesn't like PFF, they just don't think that their numbers always add up to anything.
Im a big stats guy and I love to peruse their stats but don't use their stats to say that Joique Bell is better than Adrian Peterson just because they may rank it that way
