Quick, how many CFL players were on Active Rosters in the NFL?? ... bet you don't have to take your shoes off to count them!! ... but probaly use one hand!! Only a few on off-season rosters!!
 
I feel like reading this thread is Deja vu from reading the cam wake signing thread. Same points made almost exactly about cfl vs nfl talent. Hopefully that's a good sign for messam. Ireland hit a home run with wake so I think I trust his judgment on this one.

I just read he was the first thousand yard rusher in the cfl in 12 seasons. Prolly because the cfl is so pass friendly.but that's not a bad stat to have!

Would you put the GIANTS' JACOBS at H-Back? Would you have made JIM BROWN a blocking back for whoever?
 
Jacobs is an awful running back for the past 2 years so Im not sure what people are talking about making comparisons like they are a positive

huh there were three 1000 yard rushers in cfl just last year. didnt parcells hit the home run we keep saying ireland did not have say we cant just give him credit when its good
 
this guy will come in to be a situational player. You people talk like he's being brought in to be the franchise back. Were set with Bush and Thomas... Depth is always a good thing at RB.

At this point I give Ireland credit for all the good and Parcells for all the bad...............but that's just me.
