I think Micah Johnson will fall to the 3rd - though, I fear he won't. I commented previously that I like him every bit as much as Spikes and McClain. Also, Brandon Graham is my favorite player that we have a realistic chance of landing. Some have him in the top 10; some have him in the 3rd. If we can get him in the 2nd, then we have 3 options as I see them:

1. In the first, we can get the best NT in the draft - D. Williams.
2. We can go after a top-tier WR. I don't see it happening in the 1st.
3. Knowing that the FO likes to draft in pairs, we draft either Jerry Hughes or Brandon Spikes and still get Graham and Johnson.

The lists (checked out other position prospects) are a bit outdated, but most of the top prospects are in there somewhere.

There is no way Miami will draft a WR in the 1st round. Especially when it's a very weak draft for receivers. The 2011 draft will be a much better draft for the position.

Don't be surprised if we take Benn in the 1st. As always it depends on who is there when we pick. We have many needs, but there's no denying the need for a true #1 WR. Then Cam/Bess/Hartline can fall into place.

I would not be at all suprised to see this FO take Benn....remember when we drafted Vontae, Ireland mentioned that it had a lot to do with the personal relationship that he has with the HC at illinois.

I'm going out on a limb for a Dolphins WR draft prospect here: Greg Mathews from Michigan.

He has a lot of talent, great size (6'3" 210#) and good speed (I've seen 4.50). His production has been seriously lacking recently, but every offensive player sucks in Michigan's offense. He was expected to pick up right where Mario Manningham left off at Michigan, but QB and offense problems have kept him down.

He seems like he has always had the talent but just never has put it together. He has the familiarity with Henne having played 2 years with him. I feel like he's been in a funk. If he got into a system that pushed him, with coaches (Sparano and Parcells) and players like Henne and Long who will push him, he could flourish. Yeah it might take a year on the practice squad, but I feel he's definitely a guy you take an undrafted free agent flyer on. With just the right ingredients he could turn out to be a real good one

Personally, I feel that Golden Tate is the second best receiver behind only Dez Bryant. If Tate falls to Miami in the first, I think there's a great chance he ends up a Dolphin. Let's not forget how much this team needs an explosive player on offense. Tate, CJ Spiller or Jahvid Best would fill that role. The team could then concentrate on defense with its remaining picks.
