In July Chad turns 23...In August Beck turns 27..

They had to draft a QB.

& it’s no surprise that there were no takers on the Taylor trade. Why would they? Interested teams can keep their pick, wait a few days, months & then give Miami that pick in the 2009 draft & get both players.
(Taylor & their own 2008 draft pick that was asked for)

Beck's age is a way overated topic about him as a player. He's 27, so what? He still has many quality years left in front of him.

Until it takes him two years if ever to come a quality quarterback. At 29 years old how many good years does he have left? Henne was a smart move by Parcells.

May well be somewhere else though. Cam drafted Beck. BP drafted Henne. Who do you think they would rather have under center?

It will take Beck lovers a few months to figure it out.

Gotta disagree with you here... If they had to draft a QB, they would have picked up Chad at 32... Indeed, it was a vote of confidence for Beck that they didn't pick up Henne at 32.

However, at 57, Henne was BPA. You make that pick every day. ;)

That makes a lot of sense. I think the asking price may be higher for future picks, though, so don't be surprised if there are still no takers. I believe he could've been had for a second this year... It'll probably be a first for a future pick, though.

Who drafted who means absoluly nothing on who will start. The better QB will play and weather that's Beck, Henne, or McCown, is up to Sprano.

Henne is a good pick because hell push beck to do better and if beck messes up we have a rookie and a veteran(mcnown) that we can fall back on.

correction its up to Parcells....I have not heard Sparano say anything about the draft or about the players that have been picked up in FA we all know this is a parcells coached team...with Ireland as the PR rep and Sparano is the whipping boy

It's between the Coaches Mccown Beck and Henne to decide who's going to be our starter and i hope by the grace of god all 3 turn out really good. I wish the best to all the Dolphins on the team. You want them to get better give them your support all of them need it. Sitting on a sofa on sundays watching direct tv's nfl's sunday ticket doesn't make you a coach of the NFL or even a peewee leaugeteam.
