Chad Greenway is a better choice than LaVar Arrington

I need to borrow a quote from Adam_First, "I don't want LaVar.

He's a money-hungry underachiever that cannot stay healthy.

If he ended up here, I guess I'd be OK, but I'd rather have Chad Greenway."

Sure Chad didn't do well at the combine, but even he said that it wasn't his personal best and he could have done better.

After watch Greenway for 4 years here in Iowa, I can honestly say that he is a better fit and I would rather draft him then sign Arrington. Arrington seems like he is up and down some of the time, and might not be giving it all, Greenway gives 110% every game.

Now, you might say, "Oh, he's not a 3-4 LB in case Capers changes it." Are any of the linebackers we currently have 3-4 LBs? We have ran the 4-3 for a while and I think that is a really overrated type of thing to get worried about. He plays linebacker, I'm sure he can make the transition.

I just had to get this out there because I would rather draft Chad, then sign LaVar.

that's not true dom. he was even benched for bad productivity. He may be a beast when HE wants but IMO, the lack of consistency is disturbing. To overlook the potential problems would take a reasonable asking price, I don't he's being very reasonable yet.

I couldn't care which guy we get, as long as we get a good linebacker this year I will be happy. Only situation that would be bad to me is if Lavar doesn't sign and we take either Winston Justice or a DB in the first.
