Chad Henne 93.38 QB rating through first 3 preseason games

I thought Henne did a pretty nice job out there. The Marshall pass was a thing of beauty and showcased his newfound ability to put some touch on it when needed.

Pocket presence is a work in progress and I thought he left a TD out there at the end of the 2nd Q. He had two open guys in the end zone but just got a bit spooked by the pass pressure. He was never going to scramble in from there, but at least he now has a little mobility in his armoury.

Didn't stare receivers down, picked good options and accuracy was ok, if not stellar.

He's improving his composure day by day and thats going to have to continue if he's going to iron out the redzone jitters.

Nice job Chad.

These haters are killing me, they talk about Henne taking sacks and points scored and hesitate to mention the Marshall fumble. Give the guy his due, he has had back to back good games. Not only that but he bounced back early after taking a sack.

Henne still blow's. Wait till the 1st game off the season the pats are gonna pick him apart. Cmon now , 3 years off pretty decent preseason and CRASH in the regular season. How long do you have to see the same thing to MOVE ON. He was pulled for Penny last season and he'll get pulled again this season.

I've seen him barking out at his linemen for bone headed false starts and actually showing emotion.

Took him 3 years but he seems to be getting better at the position

It's his 3rd year. Final year of his contract. His coach is on the hotseat as well. This season has so much to do with Make or Break it's unreal.
To that, I say good going Henne. Nice preseason, but let's acknowledge that it's preseason. Bring all that you have learned and your new found confidence to gametime against the patsies and watch the fans back you week after week.
Believe me Chad, us fans are VERY READY to back a winner at qb. Be that guy!

Henne is playing a lot better in this style of offense. He is no longer holding the team back, in fact he is playing well.
The oline and all the penalties killed us. It was almost pathetic and the procedure and holding calls.
The oline looked weak and uninspired...lacking a leader. Jake Long should help there.
I have concerns about Pouncey against the mammoth NT's. Wilfork will eat him alive. I hope Sparano can see this and insert Incognito or Garner. That first game is very important.

Exactly. Everything has to be put into perspective. Golden boy Tom Brady got roughed up quite a bit last night and his stats were nothing to brag about. He also threw a pick. Taking sacks and throwing ints and incompletions is part of playing in the NFL.

Some of you guys act as if Wilfork is the greatest DT to ever put on shoulder pads. He's a fat slob who is known for taking many plays off. He's also on the downside of his career and gets nicked up a lot.
He's a good player, but lets not make him out to be something he's not. The Lions ran between the tackles last night and created a nice pocket for Stafford to pick their starting defense apart.

For those that can remember Jay Feidler playing.. EVERY time he dropped back for a pass, you would hold your breath fearing that he would throw a pick.. With Henne its the same thing... EVERY time he drops back for a pass, I hold my breath fearing a boneheaded play..

To be fair, Henne has been putting the ball more on the money than Jay Fiedler ever did. Fiedler had a very weak Arm and his throwing passes were off.
