Im in love with this guy....hes a stud..I saw him Saturday..I love his footwork mechanics and his poise to pass the balll......I would like him to be more accurate with throws....I really think we have a Matt Hasselbeck in the running...Henne is my choice to start in 1 year from now.....Learn the system and beat out the qbs....

I also like the Oline.....When RickyWILL ran that 12 yard run that line was like the vikings....!!! I love Samson Satele....WE will be good in 2-3 years...Ronnie looked decent on his 3 rushes.....But Ricky looks like hes on a mission to prove something....

Im not impressed with fasano's blocking.....He could be better....

Davone Bess looks like a poor man Oronde gadsden

Philip Merling Looks like GOD

I love our defense....Reggie Torbor...Channing Crowder...Joey Porter..will be solid.. Did anyone notice lionel Dotson he played well also..Parcells knows wat hes doing..I think our defense will be top 5 in 2 years....The drafting and key free agents will be the spark for us...I cant wait till we play the jets im sooo excited for the regular season

Henne looked awesome in the limited time he played... Got blitzed and pressured a few times and threw it right on the money (one play was a bomb in which Wilford dropped it)

The STARTING oline looked good IMO. They played against a top 5 defense and looked imrpessive.. As far as depth goes for our oline, thats another story

I dont know how u could compare Bess to Gadsen? They look like completely different players to me... Bess seems to give his all though. I hope he sticks along with Kircus.

The starting front 7 looked awesome and thats without Porter and Holliday. Steal of the draft for us might be Kendal Langford, he was a monster..Merling played well too but I think with Langfords prior knowledge of the 3-4 system, he starts this year.

our One problem spot on D is going to be our pass rushing OLB opposite of Porter... Is it going to be Anderson or Moses? I'd even try Torbor in that spot, he looked hyped up and I loved his energy.

That's a pretty good comparison actually.

did you just come out of the closet?
ha i'm just kidding

but i definitely agree. After seeing Henne's ability in the picket and his poise and especially his one pass downfield, i am becoming more of a henne fan. Beck, good riddance i was a fan but you just cannot seem to keep a good mindset and you seem scared. Go Henne!

I agree that Henne was impressive on Saturday, but the one thing he needs to do is not hang his receivers out to dry. He threw two or three passes that might have gotten his receivers killed against real players in real games. The one ball he floated up almost got picked off. He has a strong arm to force things in there but when he's facing first team defenses he cant always expect to do that, especially if he's forcing it into places his recievers are going to get drilled and lose the ball anyway.

Great Post...but I don't see the Bess/Gadsden connection. Gadsden was 6'4'' and had gigantic hands....Bess..not so much, but I hope he makes the roster, I like his skill set.

The thing with Bess though is, being small and slow is not a good combination.. If a player is very small, and if he wishes to have very good success in the NFL, he better be fast.. And Bess isn't fast by NFL standards.. With that said, I am pulling for the little guy as we need all the receivers we can get.

He's been getting open, so that helps. I think he definitely has a better chance of making this team over Foster after Saturday's game.

I am listening to WFAN Sports Radio 66 on the Net Right now and Phil Simms is talking to Mike and Mad Dog about the Quarterback Position and the upper elite being Manning, Brady, and Favre, then Romo, Rothlesburger, Rivers, and Eli as the next group. Then Simms said that there is a new crop of young QB's coming up and that he was in Miami for the game this weekend and he started talking about how good Henne looked and how he see's Henne being an up and coming Stud QB in the mold of Romo and Rothlesburger and that he was the Best QB on the field on Miami this past weekend. I can't wait to see how this kid develops and how good he can really be as a pro.

Romo and Ben are two different types of QB's, and there is nothing wrong with either one (Except one is a little too concerned about a past her prime hotty that hit the brick wall, and hit it hard, than the other one) I see Henne as being more of a Romo type than a Ben type.

I agree. Romo's numbers with Rothlesburger's Ring would be fine with me. :up:I just love it that he's getting run on a local station in NYC by a national "expert" and former NFL QB himself. It's one thing to get all the hype on Miami stations, but to here this was nice and Mad Dog actually agreed that the Dolphins might have hit on something with drafting Henne. :hi5:

Say that to Wes Welker... He wasn't exactly a speed demon... he just made plays.

Wasn't Phil Simms son on the field last Sat in Miami. Not very nice of him to say Henne was the best QB on the field when his son was on the field.
