Like I have always said, I want Henne to succeed. Whether he does or doesn't, we have to find out . . . but I always felt that Dan Henning was the main culprit behind the Fins offensive woes and the culprit behind most of the tension behind the scenes. Henne does what he is told, while others knew Henning was a lame . . . now Henne is being told to let it loose and Henne is starting to show a little swag. Whether he has the goods or not, we will see . . . but I sure like this Henne under Daboll a hell of alot more than Henne under Henning.

First off, you gotta believe it to conceive - that's half the battle..
hopefully he will.. if not after a representative sampling, so be it.....but if he does, will all the agenda-driven azztalkers also STFU ? I think not. :idk:

I think some will, but there will be a group...and most of us know who they are that regardless of how Henne is doing as a whole, they will nit pick anything and everything, and actually pull for him to make mistakes...... Sad and pathetic indeed.

That's just it though, if he fails all we are going to hear is "I told you so" and all that nonsense, but if he succeeds then its "I just wanted him to prove it" . . . you have to give the guy a legitimate chance and I don't think the guy had that under Henning the last 2 years, and especially last year when they took away all the speed, we had 1 TE active who isn't even a gamebreaker (who does that? . . . Packers and Saints have 2 of the most athletic TE's in the league . . .every good team has a great TE) the OLine was beat up and Henne would get pulled after completeing 3 or 4 passes in a row for 2 wildcat plays and then come back on the field in a attempt to complete a 3rd and 9.

I seriously believe Henne went through more BS than any QB in this league . . . and to his credit he stayed positive, despite some of the nonsense criticism thrown his way. He has no excuses now, but he never gave any either. It's literally now or never for Chad but I'm a fan of the guy.

If he backs this up and comes out on Monday night and shows veteran (Brady, Brees, Rivers) type poise and control of this team there will be some very nervous teams out there. I think that makes us a very serious contender to take the AFC East. He is the key to this whole thing, his confidence and backing it up on the field will bring everyone on this team to a whole other level. We will know Monday night.........I am so looking forward to this!!!

I just want him to take a few chances. Mistakes are gonna happen but I rather mistakes happen while taking chances over not taking them at all. Those 3 QB's you listed are 3 of the 5 best in the league . . . Henne doesn't have to be that on Monday . . . he needs to play within his means and keep his team in the game. He has the ability, he has the speed now and he has the arm. Hopefully the Oline can give him a little time, but I'm feeling good about Chad in this offense.

Have to give full credit. Probably the most sensible comment I have read on Henne. You watch thoug.....he will throw 1 int and he will get destroyed on here, no matter anything else he does in the game. He is going to make bad throws (Brees was almost picked off 4 times last night) but as long as his memory is short and he is being aggressive it will pay off with more TD's and yards and we win more games.
He doesn't need to play as good as those other guys I mentioned but he absolutely has to play with that type of poise and confidence.

Me too....if anything should bring out the best in him it will be to prove his value. I hope he gets pissed and takes it out on the Pats!
