He also said it will be nice to play with Jake for A COUPLE more years. May be nothing but it may be more into his attitude than some think. I really don't care for it too much from what he has shown so far and will be pulling for the guy that has been working his tail off all offseason in hopes of leading our franchise.

Not just a slip either because he said the same thing during his interview with miamidolphins.com
 
so this weekends mini camps is rookies only?? i couldve sworn i went last year and i saw more than just rookies?
 
he didnt seem too excited when he was on the phone with us right as we drafted him...idk if thats just his attitude or what...he should be excited to be here IMO...he has his personal bodyguard in J-Long, pro bowl caliber Ronnie Brown carrying the rock, and a solid FO lookin over his shoulder as their appointed gun-slinger...and hes in a wide open qb competition...what more can u want?
 
its just the way the guy is hes laid back you can tell that and when he says a couple more years i think he means in life as a whole if you relate football to life it is a couple.
 
it's kind of like this... alot of times I tell my wife that yes honey... I did have a couple of beers on the way home from work, when in fact, I know and you know that I had a couple more than 8 but less than 12 beers on the way home from work.


don't read so much into such things as this.
 
not everybody has to be a kiss *** either some people just have that demeanor to them I personally like it. I would much rather him gain our approval and be fans of him from his play not his talks in interviews
