LOL.. Big O's consistently verbose.. Question/Answer time ratio with Henne is like 4:1.. and not Chad's fault. He's answering questions concisely in a no-nonsense manner: Impressive. IMO GREAT draft makes it easy to lose sight of Smiley but I'm as bullish on him as anyone new aside from Jake. He's a terrific addition with a wonderful attitude, and turning 27 in season, he's smack dab in his prime. Gore's gonna miss him mucho.

I am impressed with the guys on the O-line. All of Long, Smiley and Murphy seem like intelligent people. And on the O-line you need that.

I am very excited regarding the future of this O-line.

Yeah, whoever our starting QB is, they don't have an excuse for piss poor play.
 
He is a really irritating interviewer. He rambles on and on about nonsense.

But cool interviews. Justin Smiley is such a character.
 
Man, I agree - one thing that keeps striking me is one word.. CHARACTER.

Look how the players measure what they say. They are intelligent, they know whats going on, and they know their responsibilities. Its as though they're all speaking with one voice.

Very impressed thus far, and the intelligence on this O-line is crazy, I mean, its the O-Line for God's sake.


I cannot wait till training camp at least, to hear of their maturation and growth.
 
I also forgot to mention, that I like that the two veterans on the line are excited about taking a "mentor" role, and they are enthusiastic about helping out the young blood.

I'm telling you, this unit has the potential to be special in 2-3 years.

Agree! It looks like, in the past, what was one of our greatest weaknesses may become one of our stengths.... Good stuff!:up:

I was browsing through the wonderlic scores the other day and noticed that the Dolphins didn't draft anyone on the offensive line who scored under 30. Obviously they like their o-line guys off-field smart as well as on.

Generally in the NFL, OLinemen are noted for being the smartest guys on the team. You seem surprised. :unsure:
