Chad henne looked great !!!!!

The only thing I would've like to see more of was Henne finding Bush in one on one against the Patriots LB.s, that was a mismatch waiting to happen. We need to get him the ball in open space like the Saints use to do.

That was by far the best QB performance from a Dolphin QB since...well number 13 was behind center.Way to go Chad, way to step it up and trust that arm and get the ball to your playmakers. I see even bigger games from Henne on the horizon. A lot has been said of the Patriots team putting the NFL on notice this year after yesterdays game...what about Henne's performance...the NFL has a new gunslinger in town...and he wears number 7...watch out!

The guy still cannot throw a long pass over a defender. If he isn't rifling the ball, he still sucks.

Henne was good, not great in this game. To be great he has to get rid of the ball more quickly on the sack he took on first and goal, get rid of the ball more quickly on his own goal line (many weeks that would have been a pick 6), not pitch the ball to Bush on a blown play resulting in a fumble and not throw that ball straight to their DB in the end zone.

I like Henne, the guy seems to be a class act. This was an encouraging performance - maybe against a weak secondary but I'd be up for extending his contract while he's still relatively cheap

First drive he hit brandon over the top of the reciever, He hit hartline in the same type of throw while getting drilled, hartline dropped the ball. He missed brandon wide open but Brady overthrew a couple recievers as well. If henne didnt impress you last night then he never will, 13 is never coming out of that tunnel again. Im a youngling so I saw marino towards the end of his career, you older die hard fans were truly spoiled I tell you.

Defense killed us that game, every time it was a Tie game or when they were down 4 the D allowed a TD in response, you cant win that way.

Henne had a good, not great game.

He played good enough that the realistic haters like myself should be happy with.

He was lights out between the 20's. But he was horrible in the redzone.

If he can play like that all season he will be fine and probably stay for a few years.

He doesn't need to be great, he just needs to be solid and not lose games. Which is what he did last night. He played good enough to win, as well as not be responsible for the loss.

The pats let it happen a couple of times and then started to bring Pat Chung up to cover Bush. That certainly slowed down the Henne to Bush passing attack.

I know, that pass to Fasano down to the one was terrible

See these responses intrigue me, because there were other throws that would show the poster to be right.

This is not a good game for people to critiscize his deep ball. He did better then needed on the deep ball this game.

However, wait through the course of a few games or season before we say "That one pass to Fasano" or talk about the pass he overthrew Hartline on.

Even a blind squirrel (Henne) can find a nut, and even Achilles (Brady) has his heel

Thank you, I wish I could give you a hundred thanks for this post. Henne wasn't perfect but anyone would being willing to take 400 yards and 3 TD's from him before tonights game

Right on if we could get in form the one foot line and get Carroll off the field we wouldve won the damn game.

As a labeled basher, I thought Henne played very well for Henne, but not great. With that said, our D layed the egg last night.

I agree with this, Henne looked better then he has BUT he still has a long way to go, A lot of his yards, were when the game was basically over, and they were playing prevent against us, I do give him credit tho for at least trying.. the one who gets the blame is the Defense, and Cam Wake for pretty much getting shut out by a rookie, and our secondary, and Mike Nolan.

So now teams blitz over 50% of the time when they are playing prevent. If the phins D could hit Brady as much as Henne was getting hit, in the last 8 minutes of the game we might of won.

I thought he looked great and the Oline was better then expected, not sure if anybody can run up the middle on NE. It just amazes me the one thing we thought we could do was get after Brady and we couldn't.
