Chad Henne Looked Like Tom Brady

henne is our qb , im pulling for him. he looks like a totally different player in games 2-3. it is preseason though. cant wait till monday night vs pats.

surprised that he didnt say that Brady looked like Henne during the lions game....

The reason could be he was smart enough to figure out the Henne he saw last season was not the real Henne.

No, he's nowhere close to Brady.

Brady started out as a short-distance-accuracy QB. He had an offense tailor made for his strenghts, and received time to develop mentally and bulk up physically.

Henne is much closer to Favre. Big arm, not much in the way of reading defenses, and better into aggressive offenses, with a high percentage of INTs and potential for big plays. Obviously Henne was stunted by Henning's offense, but he's showing what he can do with a more relaxed approach. He's still going to screw up, but as I've said before: he can go from Favre to Doug Johnson.

Henne showed promise his first year under center and I knew something was wrong with last years performance(Henning). I did loose faith in henne during last season but I never came on here and bashed him because I knew he could play. You could say preseason but this is a QB league and were second in this division. By the way wheres the START MATT MOORE FOLKS.

Aaaannnd the best part ... Brady looked like Henne v.2010, abused & used last week by a boy named Suh & co.!!

Gawd I hope both of these scenarios keep up thru Week 1.

1. Nobody ever said he was close to Brady.

2. Henne started out as a short-distance-accuracy QB. He had an offense tailor made for his strenghts, and received time to develop mentally and was already bulked up.

3. Henne is not a favre.

What your doing is going off of last year and putting it with this year. Let last year go. Henne from last year wasnt capable of this. New OC new Qb.

If he said Henne was average, everyone would be calling him a drug addict. I'm optimistic to see what he can do in week 1.

I like your way of thinking.

Although I am not convinced that Henne is no longer the Henne of old (I still see things I've always seen from him), I am feeling better about him specifically at this point. Not by much but a little. I dont care what you want to blame it on, but the fact that the offense only scored 10 under his watch is still concerning especially if he has audible powers.

But I am looking towards the future hoping that we can get that win week 1.

I thought Henne did a great job last game reading the defense and seem very confident out there. Henne threw a great deep ball which has been his problem in the past, face it guys he has improved and getting his starting left tackle back will help.Did anyone see how bad Sanchez and Eli manning played who are both really overated to me.Henne will be just fine and I agree it was a brady like performance against the bucs.

well, you know, half of the tom brady passes come out in 1 second. His receivers make all the plays. BTW, I think Ochosinko is not really all that. I see a dropoff at a WR spot. Wes Welker getting his neck racked. Tom Brady being tossed about like a rag doll vs. detroit. it was fun watching some clips on NFLN. laughing my *** off.
You should have seen the game. The Lions put on a clinic how to beat the Pats. The Pats defense is weaker then I thought and it's all about getting pressure on Brady.
